Davails creates jewelry using natural gemstones. Beads have slight surface and internal variance adding unique character to the jewelry. While every effort is made to represent colors as accurately as possible, slight variations may occur due to differences in individual monitors' settings, flash and lighting used in photography and photo enlargement. Davails uses copper, sterling silver and stainless steel in the jewelry.
To help extend the longevity of your bracelets, roll them on and off your wrists. Avoid pulling them off as it places unnecessary wear on the materials.
We use natural, untreated copper in your bracelets. It is normal for your skin to react with copper and may tarnish the beads. To get back the shine, wipe and buff with lemon juice.
We use copper in much of our jewelry as it is a conductor of energy and amps up the crystal’s energy, enhancing the gemstones qualities.
The copper used in our jewelry does not have a coating but instead is in its natural state. When copper is exposed to air/moisture, it will darken/tarnish forming a naturally occurring process called patina. It may also react to your personal body chemistry, sweat, lotions and acidity and this patina will transfer onto your skin leaving a green/blue tint. Both your skin and copper beads can readily be cleansed using soap and water. Lemon juice may also be used to polish up the beads as well.
